The maneuver took place while the shuttle was flying 208 miles above the Atlantic Ocean west of Mauritania and the western Sahara, the U.S. space agency said.
Space Shuttle Endeavour lifted off from NASA"s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida on February 8 to perform station assembly tasks. It docked to the ISS on February 10.
Endeavour"s 33rd flight was one of the last five flights of the shuttle program, which is scheduled to end its existence in September.
If weather allows, the deorbit burn will take place at 09:13 p.m. EST Sunday (02:13 a.m. GMT Monday), with a landing at 10:16 p.m. (03:16 GMT Monday) at Kennedy Space Center, NASA said.
