Vladislav Inozemtsev, academic supervisor of the Centre for Post-Industrial Studies, said that Russia and China should improve their mutual understanding to guarantee steady development of bilateral relations.

“Russian citizens are concerned over China’s growing presence in Russia’s Far East, while our Chinese colleagues are dissatisfied with the problems encountered by Chinese business in Russia,” he noted.

In this context Inozemtsev urged the two countries to improve their mutual understanding so as to avoid the problems that may obstruct the consolidation of their bilateral relations.

Russian-Chinese economic cooperation has gone as far as it can in its current form and further development is impossible without an increase in mutual investment.
