He explained that Russia’s trade deficit with China had increased even before the crisis. The list of Russian exports to China is not long, he explained.
“Russia and China cannot continue developing their economic relations without a substantial increase in mutual investment,” he said.
Amirov added that conference participants emphasized the need for Russia and China to create favorable conditions for each other’s business.
Amirov said that those involved in the conference also discussed the post-crisis global economy.
“The situation still remains unclear though many countries show signs of recovery,” he said.
